No7 Winter Makeup Look!

Hello everyone, Hope you're well. I have a post about one of my favourite makeup brands today, and one that I don't think gets mentioned enough in the beauty blogger world: No7. I have loved this company for many years now, and actually the first makeup piece I ever purchased was from them. A small little mascara that I used in the lower years of Secondary school, which was all I wore at that time.

No7 cater products for different ages and skin types. So if you're like me and have oily skin, or if you have normal, dry or very dry skin they have a product suitable. As well as different coverages in terms of foundations, BB creams and CC creams. Anyway, I think they have such amazing, quality makeup items. If you've read my past posts you may notice I am a slight foundation junkie haha, I'm constantly trying to find something that can defeat my oily complexion, redness, and acne. But always mainly towards the oily-ness.  I am less concerned about covering acne as I think no matter what you still see it, even without the redness. However yes, I am aware that is a big ask of one product, especially as I tend to stick more to 'drugstore' products. I think that's because I like a lower budget and never can justify a larger price-tag because I am always concerned about it not working for me. But if you have similar issues to me or know a good drugstore or higher end product that might help leave your suggestions below!

Back to the point of this ramble now: No7 have one of the best if not the best foundation in my collection for the issues I have. Which is the foundation featured in this post. It covers my redness, acne (to the point where you can just see the outline of it) and does give a good attempt at keeping my oil at bay. If you have moderately oily skin, for the majority of the day at least this product will keep you oil free, paired with the right powder. I can also say from experience with family that have completely different issues with their complexion have been as impressed as I am with products that work for them, so it's not just about oily skin by any means.

I love this type of look because it stays on all day: the face and the eyes. I just want to mention quickly the eyeshadow is kept very light for everyday wear, but stays on all day without any creasing which I believe is completely down to the 'smoothing eyeshadow' which is in a lipgloss type container. It acts like a primer for your eyes, a base and looks so pretty even on its own, however I've also added a slightly mousey brown eyeshadow in this look to my crease just to add a little something.

This entire look would be suitable for not only everyday use, but something like a Christmas party, or a different occasion simply by adding a little bolder of a lip colour. Making this great for all season use and very versatile.

I hope you've enjoyed this post today, I just wanted to talk a little bit about a brand I don't feel is talked about too often, but should be in my opinion. Also I hope you don't mind this being a slightly more rambly post than the ones I've been doing recently.  I have tried to keep them more to the point, like the Christmas Wishlists that are up on Wednesdays, with the last one coming this Wednesday, so be sure to look out for that!

Have you ever used any No7 products? What were your thoughts on them?
Have a great day, see you soon.
